Austin Crute was handpicked by the New York Film Academy (NYFA) to receive a scholarship to their four-week Acting High School summer program at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Austin auditioned for the NYFA during his competition at AMTC in Orlando this past  January.

The New York Film Academy’s School of Film and Acting has been honored to be the school of choice of many luminaries in the film industry who have sent their family members to study with them. They include Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, Jodie Foster, Kevin Kline, Pierce Brosnan, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, Bono (U2), directors Stephen Frears, Peter Bogdonavich, Roger Donaldson and James L. Brooks among others.

The Film Academy was founded on the philosophy that “learning by doing” combined with best industry practices is more valuable than years of theoretical study for filmmakers and actors. This educational model allows students to achieve more in less time than at all other film or acting schools in the world.
Congrats, Austin!!
